トランプ大統領演説　     Never Ever, Ever Give up

 Years from now, some of them may look back and ask themselves whether they made the right choice whether they've made the most of the opportunities, they've been given.

今から数年後、人々の内誰かが自分自身を振り返って自問するかもしれない。自分は正しい選択をしたかどうかと。与えられたチャンスの多くを生かしたかどうかを。

Together we have the same mission. Over the course of your life, you will find that things are not always fair. You will find the things happened to you that you do not deserve and that are not always warranted.

私たちは、皆一緒に同じ使命を持っています。皆さんの人生の過程で、物事は、いつも公平とは限らないとわかるでしょう。皆さんには相応しくないことや、常に保障されているとは限らない物事があなたの身に降りかかるのが分かるでしょう。

But you have to put your head down and fight fight fight. never ever ever give up. don't give in don't back down and never stop doing what you know is right.

しかし、みなさんは、頭を低くして（戦闘態勢で）戦いなさい、ファイト、ファイトだ。どんな時でも絶対に降参してはいけない。負けるな、逃げるな、正しいとわかっていることの実行を決して止めてはいけない。

Nothing worth doing ever. Ever, ever came easy, and the more righteous your fight the more opposition that you will face. In your hearts are inscribed the values of service sacrifice and devotion.

価値あることをするのは、どんなときでも、どんなときでもだ、簡単にできるものではない。

皆さんの戦いが正しければ正しいほど、激しい抵抗に合うでしょう。皆さんの心の中には、奉仕の価値と犠牲と献身が刻まれているのです。

Now you must go forth into the world and turn your hopes and dreams into action.

America has always been the land of dreams because America is a nation of true believers!

さあみなさん、外の世界に行かねばなりません。そして皆さんの希望と夢を行動にかえなければいけません。アメリカは常に夢がある国です。なぜならアメリカは真の神の信徒の国家だからです！

When the pilgrims landed at Plymouth they prayed. When the founders wrote the Declaration of independence, they invoked our creator four times. because in America, we don't worship government, We worship God.

外国からの巡礼者達が初めてプリマスに到着したとき、彼らは祈りました。建国者たちが独立宣言書を起草した時、我々の神を４回引用しました。ならばアメリカでは、私たちは政府ではなく、神を尊崇するからです。

It is why our currency proudly declares.. ‘In God We trust’  and it is why we proudly proclaim that we are one nation under God. The story of America is the story of an adventure that began with deep faith, big dreams, and humble beginnings.

なぜならば、私たちの通貨が「神に誓って」と誇らしく宣言しているからです。また、私たちが神のもとに一つの国家であると言うことを高らかに宣言しているのです。アメリカの物語は、深い信仰と大きな夢、そして粗末な入植時代から始まった冒険の物語です。

The next generation of American leaders, Never Ever Give up!  There’ll be times in your life you'll want to quit, never quit, never stop fighting for what you believe in and for the people who care about you. Carry yourself with dignity and pride.

アメリカの次世代の指導者は、どんな時でも絶対に諦めない！　人生の中で、辞めたいと思ったりする時があるでしょう。でも決して辞めてはいけない、戦いを止めてはいけない。皆さんが信じているもののためにも、あなたがたを気遣う人たちのためにも。尊厳と誇りをもって進みなさい。

Demand the best from yourself. The more people tell you it's not possible, that it can't be done, the more you should be absolutely determined to prove them wrong!

Treat the word ’impossible’ as nothing more than motivation.

自らに最善を尽くすよう要求しなさい。皆さんに、それは不可能だ、それはやり遂げることはできないと言う人が多ければ多いほど、みなさんは、彼らが間違っていることを証明する決心をますます強くしなければならない。「不可能」という言葉は、よしやるぞというきっかけ以外何ものでもないと扱うべきです。

Relish the opportunity to be an outsider. The more that a broken system tells you that you're wrong the more certain you should be that you must keep pushing ahead. You must keep pushing forward and always have the courage to be yourself.

不可能という人たちの部外者になるチャンスを喜びなさい。こわれたシステムの人たちがみなさんに間違っていると言えば言うほど、みなさんは、前に前進し続けなければならないことを

より自覚しなければなりません。みなさんは、前進し続けなければなりません。また、常にぶれない勇気をもっていなければなりません。

America is better when people put your faith into action. Pray to God… and follow his teachings. Today each of you begins a new chapter as well. When your story goes from here it will be defined by your vision, your perseverance, and your grit!  

アメリカは、人々が祈りから行動に移すとき、よりよい未来があります。神に祈りなさい。そして

導きに従いなさい。今日、皆さん一人一人が、同じように新しい物語の１章を始めます。ここから物語がスタートし、それは皆さんの未来を見る目とがんばり、そして肝っ玉しだいです。

You will build a future where we have the courage to chace our dreems no matter what the cynics and the doubters have to say. You will have the confidence to speak the hopes in your heart and to express the love that stirs your soul, as long as you have pride and your beliefs, courage in your conviction, and faith in God.

みなさんは、皮肉屋や疑い深い人々が何を言おうとも夢を追いかける勇気をもつ未来を作り上げるでしょう。心の中の夢を語り、魂を揺さぶる愛を示す自信を持つでしょう。誇りと信念、確信の中にある勇気、そして神への信仰を持ち続ける限り。

Then you will not fail. As long as America remains true to its values, loyal to its citizens, and devoted to its creator… then our best days are yet to come.

そうすれば、皆さんは、失敗しないでしょう。アメリカが、真実こそがアメリカの価値であり、国民に忠誠を誓い、また、神を信じている限り・・。私たちの最良の日がやってくるのです。

May God bless the class of 2017. May God bless the United States of America!..　and I just want to let you know that God blesses you and I want to just say you are special in every way! God bless you and God bless America! Thank you very much.
